Tina Turner   Winner of 12 Grammy Awards, Queen of Rock N Roll dies AT 83.

Tina Turner a music superstar, winner of a dozen Grammy awards in various streams of music across the board passed away at 83 in Kushnacht near Zurich in Switzerland.

While depression of a failed marriage, trauma of losing her sons pushed Tina into Depression and anxiety in her earlier part of life it was later that she had multiple medical challenges to counter with. She had suffered from stroke too earlier. she was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 2016. Battling with blood pressure ailment and a prolonged kidney disease, she succumbed on the 24 th of May 2023. Even with her death, Tina Turner has left an incredible legacy of versatility that is immemorable in time.

Born as Anna Mae Bullock, she came from a modest background hailing from a farmer’s family in Tennessee and no wonder one could sense that raw power, range and rustic ethos amplified in her singing as well in her person; Tina was resilient and powerful. That she performed at 90 concerts whilst celebrating her 50th year of musical career and danced in each one of them at the age of 70 in the year 2009, speaks volumes of how tough she was both physically and mentally.

From 1984 to 1989 Tina Turner won several awards that included Grammy awards, American music award, World music award, MTV award and she changed the global perception especially with regards to female music artists in Hollywood. In 1984 her song “What’s love got to do” stood on no 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for 3 weeks in addition to a series of her other hit solo singles then. Tina won several prestigious awards globally and ruled the hearts of music lovers irrespective of Rock, Pop R & amp, B. A rare musical talent who commanded respect and fanfare with audiences and her peers alike.

Her personal life had its load of trauma along with the accolades and riches of stardom. She narrated her traumatic and abusive experience on the Oprah Winfrey show telling how her husband Ike had tormented her physically and sexually. Tina lost her sons Craig who died to suicide IN 2019 and Ronnie who was found dead outside his apartment in LA in 2022.

Tina Turner did have her share of love in her relationship with Erwin Bach. It was love at first sight for them before a concert at the airport and what followed was romance love and bonding one kinda sees in fairy tales. She later married Erwin Bach and the relationship stood firm for 30 long years until Tina’s death did them apart.

Her official spokesperson said that her last wish was to be remembered as the
Queen of Rock N Roll. The music lovers, Tina Turner’s fans and celebrities across
the world have poured in their love and respect to this Star who deserves to be
known as the Queen of Rock N roll. None lesser than Joe Biden the American
President gave his condolences to Tina Turner’s family and fans admiring her as
the Queen of Rock & Pop. He also referred to Tina Turner as a once in a
generation talent and said that she was simply the best.

Fans and celebrities around the world sadly mourn the passing away of this iconic artist and the perfect ode to her would be to crown her both as the Queen of Pop and the Queen of Rock.
